3. Alternative Energy Technology (AET)

To augment grid electricity, REA has embarked on research and development of renewable energy and other cost effective technologies for use in rural areas. To that end REA has adapted a solar mini grid system that generates conventional electricity and is big enough to power a school, clinic, or small to medium irrigation scheme.


The Agency also provides services for the design and installation of standby generators and Uninterrupted Power Supplies (UPS).
