| The Chairman |

Alderman
Jerry Gotora is the Chairman of the Rural Electrification
Fund Board. He was appointed Board Chairman in October 2009
after having served the Agency as from its formation in
2002 as Board member. The Chairman holds a Diploma in Local
Government Administration and another in Transport Management.
Alderman Gotora is the immediate past President of the Zimbabwe
Local Government Association and former President of the
Association of Rural District Councils of Zimbabwe. He sits
on the Parks and Wildlife Management Authority Board where
he chairs the Conservation Committee. He is the founder
member of CAMPFIRE where he served the association for 9
years. Alderman Gotora has also chaired the Mazowe Catchment
Council of the Zimbabwe National Water Authority. |
Ms Latiso Laticia Dhlamini

|
Ms Dhlamini
is the deputy chairperson of the Rural Electrification Fund
Board. She is employed by the Ministry of Local Government
Rural and Urban Development as the Provincial Administrator
for Matebeleland North Province. She was appointed to the
Board in June 2005. Ms Dhlamini holds a Bachelor of Science
(Honours) Degree in Politics and Administration. |
Mr Frederick Nyaguse Maziveyi

Mr Maziveyi
is the Deputy Director of Power in the Ministry of Energy
and Power Development. He has been sitting on the Rural
Electrification Fund Board since 2008 as the representative
of the Ministry of Energy and Power Development. He holds
a Bachelor of Administration Honours (Economics and Public
Administration) from the University of Zimbabwe. He also
has a post graduate diploma in Energy Economics, Policy
and Regulation which he obtained at Oxford College of Petroleum
and Energy Studies. |
Mr Fungai Samuel Mbetsa |

Mr Mbetsa
is the Provincial Administrator for Manicaland Province
and was appointed to the Rural Electrification Fund Board
in 2005. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree
in Politics & Administration and a Post Graduate Diploma
in Water and Sanitation. He is pursuing a Masters Degree
in Business Administration with the Zimbabwe Open University. |
Mr Felix Alexander Chikovo

Mr Chikovo
is a Board member of the Rural Electrification Fund. A former
district administrator for Gutu district, Mr Chikovo, the
Provincial Administrator for Masvingo Province was appointed
to the REF Board in 2005. He holds an International Diploma
in State Administration, International Diploma in Rural
Development Planning, Management & Evaluation and has
completed Part 1 of the Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree
in Politics and Administration. |
Mr Christopher Shumba |

Mr Shumba
is the Provincial Administrator for Mashonaland West Province.
He was appointed Board member in June 2005. He holds a Bachelor's
and a Masters Degree in Education. He was appointed to the
REF Board in June 2005. |
Mr David Alphonse Mpofu |

Mr Mpofu
was appointed to the REA Board in June 2005. He is the Provincial
Administrator for Matebeleland South Province. He holds
a Bachelor's and a Masters Degree in Education. |
Mr Joseph Takundiwa Jaji |

Mr Jaji is one of the
longest serving Board members of the Rural Electrification
Fund. He was appointed Board member at the inception of
the Agency in 2002. Mr Jaji is employed by the Ministry
of Local Government, Rural and Urban Development as the
Provincial Administrator for Mashonaland Central Province.
He holds a National Diploma in Local Government &
Administration and a Masters Degree in Social Science
(Development Administration).

Mr Cuthbert Ndarukwa

Mr Ndarukwa, the Provincial Administrator
for Mashonaland East Province was appointed REF Board
member in 2005. He obtained a National Diploma in Management
Studies from the Harare Polytechnic and a Masters of Social
Sciences Degree in Development Administration from Birmingham
University in Britain. He also holds a National Diploma
in Local Government and Administration.

Mrs Cecilia Chitiyo |

Mrs Chitiyo is employed by the Ministry
of Local Government, Rural and Urban Development as the
Provincial Administrator for Midlands Province.She holds
a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the University
of Zimbabwe which she obtained in 2001. She was appointed
REF Board member in 2005.

Mr Chiminya |

Board Member |
Mr Chiminya is the current President of
Zimbabwe Local Government Association (ZILGA). He was
appointed to the Rural Electrification Fund Board (REF)
last year. Mr Chiminya obtained a Mechanical Engineering
Degree at the Technical Institute in Singapore.He worked
for many companies in the industry that include SKF Bearings
and Hubert Davies before he got into self employment.

Mr Vurayai Guvakuva |

Mr
Guvakuva is the Chief Executive of the Rural Electrification
Agency. He was appointed Chief Executive on August 30 this
year. Before he assumed the new post, he was the Executive
Director – Finance and Administration up to 2008 when
he started acting as Chief Executive. Mr Guvakuva holds
a Bachelors Degree in Accountancy and a Masters in Business
Administration. He is a Chartered Secretary and has worked
for a number of organizations in accounting and financial
positions such as the IDC Group, Zimbabwe Phosphate Industries
and Phillips Electrical. |
Eng Batsirai Reuben Machamire |

Eng Machamire
is the Executive Director - Operations. He was appointed
in 2002. Previously Eng Machamire worked for Air Zimbabwe,
NRZ, USAI and ZESA where he was assigned to the REA unit.
He holds a Degree in Aeronautical Engineering & Design
and a Masters Degree in Business Administration. He is a
Chartered Engineer, a member of the Zimbabwe Institute of
Engineers and Institute of Mechanical Engineers. |
Eng Joshua Vunganai Mashamba |

Eng Mashamba
is the Executive Director-Business Development. He was
appointed in 2002 soon after the formation of REA. Before,
Eng Mashamba previously worked for the then Ministry of
Transport and Energy as Energy Development Officer and
ZESA as senior Engineer. Eng Mashamba holds a Masters
of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering which he obtained
at Kharkov Polytechnical Institute in Ukrain.
