Electricity End Use Infrastructure Development (EEUID)
This seeks to promote productive use of electricity rural areas thereby creating sustainable incomes and demand for electricity.
The rural communities are assisted to acquire electric equipment such as irrigation pumps, agro-processing and cottage industry machines. The loans are repaid from the proceeds of the business ventures.
To get assistance in establishing an EEUID project:-
Complete and send the completed form to the nearest REA Office by fax (263 4 707667) or scanned copy by email (rea@rea.co.zw) together with a project proposal document or visit your nearest REA Office for more information.
Arrange to meet with REA Officials at the place that you want to establish your EEUID project.
If project qualifies for assistance you will be notified to make the necessary payment. Work on your EEUID project will commence as soon as REA mobilizes all the necessary resources.
