1.Grid Electricity Connection

The Rural Electrification Programme (REP) seeks to electrify rural public institutions such as schools, rural health centres, government extension offices, and chiefs` homesteads. Public institutions qualify for 100% capital subsidy for grid extension. Community projects qualify for 60% capital subsidy

How to Apply for Grid Electricity

To get your place electrified:-

1. Download form (Grid Electricity Application Form )
   
   
2. Complete and send the completed form to the nearest REA Office by fax (263 4 707667) or scanned copy by email(rea@rea.co.zw) or visit your nearest REA Office for more information.
   
   
3. Arrange to meet with REA Officials at the place that you want connected to the grid so that a quotation can be done.
   
   
4. After receiving a quotation from REA make the necessary payment. Work on your electrification project will commence as soon as REA mobilizes all the necessary resources.
